During the summer months work and most of my community leave the village due to the extreme heat.That’s pretty common when the dar chabaab closes during the last month of the summer or possibly sooner depending on your site.

So, following suit I took two weeks off towards the end of July to explore more of the the country. My site is the furthest down south for PC presence and during this trip I really wanted to check out Chefchouen and  Tangier. So essentially I traveled the furthest south to the most northern part of the country for my birthday trip.. It was exhausting but worth it!

I spent time in Agadir, Kenitra, Tangier, Chefcouen, Marrakesh, and back again to Agadir before journeying home.
